This resource aims to enrich the efforts of parliaments and their civil society counterparts to engage in collaborative processes, either as part of the Open Government Partnership National Action Plan or otherwise. The second section shares the experiences of a variety of parliaments and civil society organisations in collaborating in the creation of parliamentary openness commitments and in developing ongoing mechanisms for dialogue on openness. The final section shares some of the types of commitments that parliaments have made to become more open, accountable and engaging of citizens. It also lists additional resources that can be drawn upon to advance parliamentary openness.
The resource is available in English, Spanish, and French.

  1. It seems that this toolkit is no longer online. Does anyone has saved a copy somewhere?

    1. Thank you for pointing this out. We have contacted the webmaster for this toolkit and the email to the webmaster bounced back. We will investigate a bit more, but perhaps this toolkit is now defunct. We did not include a copy here since their licensing did not allow for it. We will also try contacting the Open Government Partnership to see if they plan on putting it back online. Otherwise, unfortunately, we will remove it from the Toolkit Navigator.

  2. Hi Angela,

    Thanks for your reply.
In the meantime I have managed to find the ressource (as a downloaded .pdf, the resource does not seem to be online anymore.)
I can of course forward it to you so you can upload it here, but you probably need to check with the licence if that’s possible.
